The cartoon followed the subversive antics of the troublemaking orange tabby (voiced by the legendary Mel Blanc) as he tormented the neighborhood bulldog, Spike; romanced his girlfriend, Sonja; and generally exasperated his loving owners, the Nutmeg family. The series also featured a segment called THE CATILLAC CATS (aka CATS AND CO.), which chronicled the moneymaking schemes of a junkyard gang of alley cats who drove a magical mutating Cadillac.
